In 2022, Poulton Lancelyn established its own nursery. The nursery accepts children from 2 years old and is split into two rooms - Nursery and F1. 

Our committed, experienced and hardworking team have high expectations of all children both academically and socially. Both rooms are led by qualified teachers; within each class, children are placed in key worker groups. Key workers assess children’s progress and needs and will communicate with you about your child’s progress.

There is one outdoor area, which is shared by the classes.

Times of the day 8.45-3.45 for the children (doors for early pick up open at 3.20pm)

We order milk and fruit snacks daily for the children.

Children have the option of having a hot dinner or packed lunch. Menus for hot meals can be found under the Our School tab of the website.

To assist working parents, we also offer wrap around sessions. Morning wrap around care is 7.45 – 8.45 (£5.50); breakfast is provided (cereal, toast, water, juice). Afternoon wrap around care is 3.45-5.45 (£11); afternoon snack is provided (snack/sandwich, water, juice). Wraparound care is staffed by current school staff.

Visits to our nursery are welcomed; there are two open evenings in January 2025, or you can contact the school office.

Deadline for applications is Friday 28^th February 2025. Applications after this date will be considered as late.

You will be notified of a place on 13^th May 2025. We will hold settling in sessions in summer term.

Having a place in Poulton F1/Nursery does not provide automatic entrance to F2. Families must apply via the LA webpage.
